Kindergarten and EDC celebration of learning Math Week was a huge success These images and quotes were captured from Twitter over the past week. Students have lots of skills that they can teach their friends and families! We frequently hear that families want ways to support their children in numeracy and mathematical understanding but are not sure how to do so. Blog posts on Mathematics offer some suggestions, but this week we chose to do something a little different. This week our classes focused intentionally on learning through Math games. Teachers and students shared games that could be played both during school and at home. It is our sincere hope that your child has been teaching you at least one new game every night. We have put together a database that our teachers will continue to draw from to teach new games, and we will share several on this blog. If you would like more, please contact myself or your child's teacher! Try some new Games: This week - SUBTRACTION WAR!
