Robert Munsch has written many, many children's stories that have entertained children for hours. In addition to being a fun author to read, Robert Munsch is an excellent storyteller and hearing him read his books is completely captivating. If you haven't read any books by Munsch, please check out the books at the library or listen to him read them online. His stories are always about every day events as experienced through the eyes of highly active children. Here is one of many examples of him reading his book, Mortimer. Click on the picture to go to Youtube to see him read. Robert Munsch stories are fun to share with your children, and lend themselves well to using voices and inflection to engage them in the book.
